Show Mr. And Mrs. J. R. Thompson Celebrate Golden Wedding Anniversary jj Mr. nd Mrs. James II. Thompson A family gathering was held recently at the Lehl Riding Club clubhouse honoring Mr. and Mrs. James R. Thompson, marking their Golden wedding anniversary. Mr, Thompson was born in HcnrieviUe, a son of Willis and Isabell Simpson Thompson. Ellen Peterson Thompson was born In Beaver Dam, Utah, to Hans and Martha Jane Abbot Peterson. They were married Oct. 18, 1911, the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1955. Former residents of Escalante, they have made their home in Lehl since 1946. They have 5 daughters and 2 sons, 33 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Daughter LaReta and husband Alvey Sherman of Imperial Beach, Calif, attended tho anniversary celebration and vsme on to Escalante for tho deer hunt. |
