Show TROPIC XTIn Ailrtlt Several local people attended funeral services for Thco Hatch Bybcc in Grantsvillc. Mary Ott spent the weekend with her daughter Irene in St. George. Chris Munson and Kim Nelson had birthdays last week; Loue Shakespcar had hers on May 19 th and Mabel Ott celebrated hers on May 24th. Larene Munson and Annio Colvin attended a musical presentation at Dixie College Saturday night. Visitors in town during the wee'- -ere the James A. Otts and ' ; Olson on Saturday; the Wendell Bryce family on Thursday. The Beaumont Griffins of Escalante visited Sunday with Ella Adair and Minerva Dut-ton. The Leslie LcFcvres accompanied their son LaMar to Kansas last week, they visited the Gerald Adairs in Topeka while In Kansas. Weekend visitors in town were the Mark Rasmusscn family; Wally Ott; the Harold Aliens of Antimony at the Claud Sudwecks home; the Kerry Lewis' at the IDram Pollocks. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Barton are in Canada, their son Evan will return home with them, having served an LDS Canadian mission for two years. Speakers in Sacrament meeting were Bishop John H. Johnson and Bro Blackctt of Springville. Chris Munson was ordained a Priest and Kim Nelson a Teacher, Sunday. Coach Stoker, Larry Adair Vcrland Rose and Royce Griffin attended a State track meet at Salt Lake. The Senior class members and faculty were feted at a banquet by the parents of the graduates Thursday night; Mrs. Kent Wintch was in charge of the program. Students of Home-making dept. presented a fashion show Wednesday. The Juniors entertained the Seniors at a barbeque at Koda-chrome Flats Monday night. |
