Judy and LaMond Davis and sons are visitors at the Sherman Davis's. Word was received that Ken and Roma Clark have settled in Van Nuyes, Calif., we wish this young couple much success and happiness in their new venture. Rachel Thompson, Laurie and Carmen Holly are in the East visiting for two months with the Bruce Bartons. Betty and June Nelson are still touring around, I understand they will visit all the LDS Temples in the U.S. and Canada before they return home. Mrs. Garda Davies and Mrs. Mandy Fletcher took their daughters Maureen and Myr-jajoteorgetoaUendthe Dixie College this winter. The Clele Fletcher family was in Salt Lake over the weekend attending UEA. They went on to Logan to take Annabels to the USU. Mae and Vaughn Twltchell spent the weekend in Las Vegas accompanied by the Bur-nell Twltchells of Cedar City. Katherine Henderson was in Cedar City Wednesday having her tonsils removed. Mrs. Pat (Haycock) Jackson of Las Vegas'was here visiting. She relates it isn't the best feeling In the world to be ushered into a store witn a gun in your back, It was her sister Jeanene's store that was recently robbed of $10,000 at Murray. Bertha Graff is still a patient at tho hospital but Is feeling better. Monty Twltchell, son of the Desmond Twltchells had the misfortune of getting hit in tho head with a baUbat, he had to have six stitches to close the wound. Melanle Clark celebrated her 2nd birthday Sept. 27th and Mae Twitchell celebrated hers the 3rd of Oct., but I won't say how old she was. I talked with a fellow Sunday who came from Page, Ar-izona up over the Cottonwood Road and he said it was in real good condition so if you want to take a trip to the dam now is the time to go before the snow comes. Eleven of our young people attended the Stake Youth Fireside at Escalante Sunday. Bp. C. Angus Baldwin is sporting a new pickup. |
