Show Funeral Services Held For Ascha TalbotShakesf)ear Funeral services for Ascha Talbot Shakespeare were held in the Tropic ward-chapel on August 11, with Arlo Barton conducting. Prayer in the home, Clive Bybee. Prelude and Postlude music, Flora LeFevre; song, "Sometime We'll Understand" Tropic choir; Invocation, Ben Cope; speaker, Frank Houston; vocal duet "Beyond The Sunset", Orton Talbot and Hilma Excell, reading by Barbara Marshall; talks by Joe Hatch, Zorabell Pollock and John II. Johnson; violin solo, "In The Garden", Melanie MccEwen; speaker, Mayo Rich; vocal selection, David Rose and Sons; Remarks by Bishopric, Arlo Barton; song, "I Need Thee Every Hour", choir; Benediction, James II. Excell. The grave was dedicated by Sam Pollock. Mrs. Shakespeare died on August 7th in the Panguitch hospital after a lingering illness. She was born March 13, 1916 in Panguittch to Orson and Stella Richards Talbot, Her mother died when she was small and she came to Tropic to live with an aunt and uncle, the Isaac Caffles, who raised her. She married Frank Shakespeare Sept. 5, 1034. During her life she was active in various auxiliaries of the Tropic ward, at the time of her death was a Relief Society teacher. She was well known as a seamstress, having designed and constructed clothing for people throughout the county. Survivors: husband; children: Weston of Pinehurst, Idaho; Mrs. Bill (Dorothy) Wi-mour of Rifle, Colo.; Fred of Tropic; 3 grandchildren; stepmother, Mrs. Mabel Talbot; a brother, Jesse of Salt Lake; a sister, Mrs. Maurice (Eva) Marshall of Panguitch. |
