Show George Hendeison Buried At Cannonville , George J. Henderson, 67, died Friday, Feb. 6, at his home after a heart attack. Mr. Henderson was born in Cannonville on March 12, 1891 to William Jasper and Sarah Ann Fletcher Henderson. He married Fern Goulding on June 16, 1915 at Salt Lake; later solemnized in the St George Temple. He served a mission in the Northwestern States, from April 3, 1912 to Sept. 27, 1914. He was a farmer and stockman, and held the office of a high priest in the Church. Survivors are: wife; six daughters, four sons: Mrs. Mario (Sarah Margaret) Za briskie, Los .Angeles; Mrs. Allen (Melba) Mooney, Euclid, Ohio; Mrs. Patrick (Ora)Wa-then, San Diego; Mrs. Elden (Verlene) Gleave, Antimony; Mrs. Rodney (Golda) Cottom, Augusta, Mont: Lorna, Cannonville; George, Overton Nevada; Dee, Culver City, Calif.; Otha, Springville; Ned, Salt Lake; 30 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; 3 brothers: John C, Spanish Fork; Warren,;, Montlccllo; Rcedis. Cedar City;" 3 sisters: Mrs. Wilford "(Ethel) Clark; Mrs. Sam (Bertha) Graff, Cannonville; i Mrs. Alfred (Opal) Hatch, Pangultch. Funeral services were' held Tuesday in the Cannonville Ward Chapel, Prayer In the home, Reed S. Henderson; song "Sometime We'll Understand; Prayer, John C. Henderson; Remarks, Bishop Marion Clark, song "Oh My Father", choir Talk, Pres. J. Clyde Spencer; 6ong "In The Garden", Malcn and Viva Mecham; Tribute, Wilford Clark; piano solo, El va Clark; Talk, Warren Henderson; song "I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go", choir, Benediction, C. Angus Baldwin. The grave was dedicated by Alfred Hatch. Burial was in tho Cannonville Cemetery under direction of Neal S. Magle-by Mortuary. |
