Show Funeial Services Friday For E. C. Houston Funeral services for Earl C. Houston, 65, were held on Friday In the North Ward chapel, with D. Kern Owens officiating. Prayer In home was by Vee Worthen. Prelude and postlude music by Irene McEwcn and Cccile Orton; song "Sometime We'll Understand", choir; Invoca tion, Matt Houston; Speaker, S. A. Worthen; vocal duet "I Will Steer My Bark", Pearl Henri e and Dell Cooper; speaker, Thomas R. Lambert; violin duct, Melanle McEwcn and Olivia Orton; speaker, Lynn Dickinson; solo "I Am A Pilgrim", Torla Henrle; remarks by Bishopric, D. Kern Owens; song "Abide With Me", choir; benediction, Wallace Miller. The grave was dedicated by James L. Hatch. Burial was In Pangultch cemetery under direction of Neal S. Magleby Mortuary. Mr. Houston died May 23 at the home of a sister, Mrs. Mary Sargent, of a heart ailment. He was born May 17, 1095 in Panguitch to Thomas and Christina Schow Houston. He married Alma Worthen In Pangultch on Dec. 31, 1920. She died Oct. 19, 1933.
