Show Funeral Services To Be Held Thmsday For Mrs. Saiah 0. Henrie Sarah Olive Henrie, 84, died at her home here Monday morning of causes incident of age. She was born on March 21, 1875 in Pangultch, a daughter of Sarah Ellen Adams and Harvey Parley Lee. On Dec. 11, 1894 she married James Nathan Henrie in Pan guitch and the marriage was solemnized in the Mantl Temple Dec. 19, 1894. Mr Henrie passed away in 1933. Mrs. Henrie was an active member of the LDS Church. . . She served as Stake Relief Society President, Secretary, and Counselor, a total of 28 years of continuous service. She was active in Sunday Shcool and served a period of time as Sunday School socre-I tary. She was President of the YLMIA in 1894, and was a teacher and officer in Primary for several years. In 1942 she Joined the Pan guitch Literary Club and held several positions of import- ance. A member of the Dau- ghters of Utah Pioneers, Camp Cornelia, she served as their corresponding secretary in 1935. She was a member of t the National Committee of Infantile Paralysis In 1942. She was a lovely flower . gardner and her flowers and yard were a show place; this ) " past summer her yard has been especially beautiful. She took many blue ribbons at the ; County Fair with her entries ; in this division. She was ad- ept at crocheting, fancy work of all kinds, quilting, etc. Ex- tremely interested in gcneal- ogy she has compiled a good record of her family history. Survivors include 5 sons: Roy L. of Lyman; James Usher, Bernard D., Keith 0. and George C, all of Pangultch; a sister, Mrs. George (Vivian) Cutler, Puenta, Calif. She has 24 grandchildren and ' 18 great grandchildren. Mrs. Henrie also furnished a home for 4 foster children: Mrs. Arthur (Fern Slade) Sevy of Upland, Calif; Mrs. Lyle (La Vera Henrie) Hannig, Boulder City, Nev; James Ercil Henrie, Las Vegas; Mrs. Horace (Ruby Gould) Myers of Pangultch. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 15, In the South Ward Chapel at 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) in the South Ward chapel with Bishop M. Kay Heywood conducting. Prayer in the home will be offered by Douglas D. Henrie. Prelude and Postlude music, Ruth Henrie and Grace Mastcrson; Opening Prayer, Jay A.
