Show COUNTY AGENT'S NOTES By Harold Lindsay This week has been devoted to achievement programs for 4-H members. Monday night, 4-H Achievement Exercises were held during MIA In the South Ward in Escalante, A special pin was awarded to Louise Mountecr in recognition of her-5 years as a leader in 4-IL Special county medals were awarded to six girls for outstanding accomplishment in 4-H. during the past year. Effie Kay Spencer, Wanda Beth Robinson and Jean Haws received medals in food preparation. Myrna and Marva Mounteer received Home Ec. medals and also 4 year pins. Dorothy Alvey was awarded a county medal for the Canning Award. On Tuesday at the Bryce Valley High School, the 4-H members from Tropic, Hen-rieville and Cannonville held their achievement exercises. Ella Adair was awarded a 15 year pin for leading 4-H clubs for 15 years. Earl Jolley was awarded a pin for 10 years of leadership. Boys agricultural awards were presented to Henry Jolley and Larry Adair. Four year pins wero awarded to Lynn Allen, John Allen. Farrell Brinkcrhoff, Julia Ann Marshall, Nancy Mecham, and Charlene Wintch of Tropic. Achievement Exercises will be held in Panguitch on Monday, December 15, at 7 p.m. in the South Ward Church. They will be held in Boulder on Sunday. |
