Show George Cooper Drowns George Cooper, 4H, of Fan-eultch, a teacher at Pangultch High School, died by drowning at Pangultch Lake last Saturday, September 18th. His body was found floating face down near his capsized boat about 2:lf In the afternoon. Dewey Becksliom and Tom Iambert brought him to shore. Dr. Duggins, summoned Irom Pangultch, pronounced him dead. Born on Feb. 8, 1906, he was a son of Nathan and Ann Dodds Cooper of Pangultch. Mr. Cooper was a graduate from Pangultch High School, where he starred on the State Championship and nationally noted basketball team. He graduated from BYU after establishing himself as one or the all-ttmo all-around athletes at that college. For nineteen years ho taught school. Surviving are Ms widow; 4 thlldren, Mrs Carol Bunker, 21, o' Seattle, Wash.; George Kenneth, 20, Dorothy, 18, and Frank D.. 15; 1 grandson; a sister, Mrs Von Daly of Pangultch, Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the South Ward chapel under, direction ot Bishop Jay A.
