Mrs Johnson was born In Or. tiervllle, Kane County, on Dec. 10, 1877, a daughter of Orvllle and Eliza Cox. The couple were married In Georgetown, Kane County, on July 18. 1894. The marriage, was I ater solemnized in the MantI Temple. They are the parents or 11 children, 8 of whom are still lMlng. They arc Orvllle S., Salt Lake; Mrs Clen (Merlntha) Johnson, llanksvllle; Slxtus E. It. Wellington; Clemont II., Payson; Mrs Guy (Nina) Robl-son, Creenrlver, Utah; Thorley C. W. Bryan, Mrs David (Del. pha) Rose, all of Henrlevllle. They also have 43 grandchildren and 18 great grandchll. dren. Mr Johnson has filled a mission to the Southern States. He has a record of 47 baptisms, has also filled a short term mission unci has been a stake mission-nry for many years. Offices held In the church consist of Bishop, Councilor to Stake President of High Priest Quorum, Supt. of .Sunday School, MIA President, and a class leader for G4 yearn In the Sunday Schools. He has bad a 100 percent wa,rd teaching record for the past 4 years. Mrs Johnson has been active hi the church. She has been a counclloi In Relief Society and Primary organizations and Is still an active visiting teacher In the Relief Society. The couple has worked nine winters In the St. George Tem. pie. Mr Johnson lias been successful rancher. They have lived la Arizona, Wyoming and Utah during their life time. Because the family Is scat-tfred, they will not attempt to l'ae an "open house", but are hoping that' part of the family can visit them.
