Show Funeral Services Held For Thelma Heywood Mrs. Thelma Gardiner Heywood, 47, died Saturday, May 15, at the Pangultch Hospital after a stroke. She was born In Heaver June 11. 1906, a daughter of Frederick G. and Minnie Batty Gard-Iner. A graduate of BYU, she taught school In Emery County and In I'angulteh. She was principal of the Pangultch Elementary School for one year. At the time ot her death she wns a teacher at Pangultch High School. Mrs. Heywood was active In church work. She was well, known as an advisor to the young people who frequently called upon her with their problems. On June 11, 1937, she mar-lied J. Karl Heywood In the Salt lake Temple. Survivors include her hus band; 4 sisters. 2 brothers: Mrs. J. Frank (Mary) Dalley, Cedar City; Mrs. Arthur W, (Forence) Dalton. Provo; Mrs. Shirt (El-na) Fox, Clrclevllle; Mrs. J. A. (Myrtle) Rlggi, Pangultch. George, Nam pa, Ida,; Qene, Junction, Funeral services were held Wednesday In the South Ward chapel. A very targe number of people from the county and from out of town were present to pay their last respects to Mrs. Heywood.
