Show DL" S A HV NORMA CFSKELLY Representatives from the four District 8 Clubs met Thursday to discuss a proposal of bid for the State Meet to be held In this District. The Rcdvlew Rtd- ers of Hlchfleld were hosts with President Dick Hazen presiding. Representatives from the Pan-guitch Club were President J. Usher Henrie and wife Dolly. Tentative plans were made relative to handling different phases of the meet. It will be held August fi and 7 and the site Is to be determined at a State Board meeting which will convene In Salt Lake City on April 13. The meet will consist of competitive events between 61 Hiding Clubs In Utah. Some of the events are: barrel races, clover-leaf barrel races, quarter-mile races, calf roping, ribbon pulling, potato races, stock, pleasure and parade horse contest, as well as drills and parades by each club. |
