Show ANTIMONY The new Relief Society Presl. dency visited each home last Tuesday with an Invitation to all the ladles to attend'the opening social and Reljef Society. The so- clal was held Thursday with a program, game and lunch. A good crowd was In attendance. Mrs. Kay (Blanche) Mathews returned to Delta Saturday after visiting with Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Mathews. Her husband Kay Is stationed In Germany. Mr. and Mrs. Roland NIcholes and Chad of Cbdar City visited several days with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley NIcholes. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Jolley of Cedar City are parenta of a baby boy born the latter part of Sept. Ward Savage went elk hunting last week on the Mantl Mt. LaPrele Allen attended conference at Salt Lake. Lloyd Maxwell, -a former resident of Antimony, was killed In Overton, Ner. Ward Savage and Lyle Rlcketts attended funeral services for him Tuesday, Ward was one of the speakers. Mrs. Varla Oleave and children of Monroe visited Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Sorensen. June Nielsen and daughters visited several days the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. II. S. Gleavte. Visiting with the Theone Rid-Ole family over the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. June Harvard and family of Provo. BlUIe Allen entertained a group of little friends on her son Brad-ley's 2nd birthday, Sunday. Candle Savage returned home Sunday after spending a couple of weeks In Cedar City with her aunt Thora Munson. Ray Warner returned to the BYU after spending the weekend with his parents, the MIIo Warners. Mr. and Mrs. Gyle Riddle and family and Minnie Moore enjoyed a trip to the Cougar Spar Mine to gather plnenuts last week. Phyllis Nay has been visiting Fcveral days In Richfield with her parents. Luzon Cox and Nedra Riddle of Falrvlew visited last week with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Riddle. llud Olson of, Provo, a friend of Carol Nelson, visited several days with the Del Mar Nelson family. Mr. and Mrs. Burns Black entertained a group of young married couples at a supper In Antimony Canyon. Roy Applegafe and Roy Slead of Long Beach, Calif, enjoyed a week of hunting with the Voe Proctors. The Indians have arrived and the potato harvest Is In full swing. Mr. and Mrs. Don La Verso and' daughter of Los AnpelfS, Calif, have been visiting the past week with the LaMaun Riddle family. Larry and Albert Maxwell ot Cbdar City spent theweekend at the Lyle Rtckett home. |
