Show ESCALANTE . , Miss Hetty Joan Spencer who Is employed In Provo Is home visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. (Jarn Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. Max Morrill of Junction and two soiu were business visitors In Escalante Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Durrel Woolsey came to Escalante last week end to leave their two small chlld-ten with Durrell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Woolsey, while ho returned to Cedar City where he was to have a major operation this week. Miss Elaine Dalley enjoyed a visit with friends In I'rovo and fait Iike City recently, Mrs. Virginia Ilauer and children of Cedar City visited here a fi w days last week with her parents, Mr. and Mm. Danhjl Wll-cock. When she returned home she left her two children. Ruth Marie and Danny, to visit awhile at the Wllcock home. Mrs. Devere Gates left last week for Florida where she plans tn spend some time visiting with her daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne 11a I ley and family arrived here lait week from North Dakota, where Wayne Is emplocd. They plan to spend most of their vacation here with friends and relatives. Mrs. flwen Lyman and Mrs. Millie Mclnelly made a business trip to Pangultch last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Judd Eyre of California are tlsltlng friends In Escalante. Mr. and Mrs. Sherll Alvey are home visiting with their families after having been at an army base In California since Christmas. Mrs. Alvey, the former Dorothy Jean Poulson of Doulder, plans to .e-maln with her parents, Mr. and .Mrs. Heher Poulson of noulder, until September. When Sherll returns to California he will be transferred to Park Air Force llase. Jay Deuel Is home on short leave from the service visiting his mother, Mrs. Hulda Spencer. DeLoy Spencer Is enjoying being home with his parents, Mr. and Mrs, flam Spencer, after having recently returned from service In Korea. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Porter drove to Provo Saturday to lake their son. Hans, who had been home for a short time, and to get their daughter. Yoland, who has visited relatives In Provo the past few weeks. Lorenzo Orlffln left for Provo Monday to register for a course In summer school at n. Y. V. Mr. flrlffln Is Principal of the Escalante Elementary School. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Cowles made a business trip to Salt take last week and to bring home their car which has bee,n being repaired after having been wrecked. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Munson and baby were here a few days last week visiting with friends and relatives. They returned to Cedar City where they plan to spend most of their time while home from California where Hubert Is stationed with the U. S. Army. Pratt -Munson wa here recently visiting with relatives. Pratt has been attending school at the 17. of V. Lynn Robinson of Ely, Nev and Sherll Rarnson and two sona nf Junction visited last week at the niake Robinson homo and nccompanled him on a fishing trip for two days. Mrs. Kurl Porter visited last week at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ruby Woolsey. Tuesday they were accompanied on a shopping trip to Richfield by Joy Woolsey and Ruth Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Porter and family of Lehl were visiting Mr. Porter's mother here last week.
