Mr, and Mrs. Gordon Crosby of Ogden Tiave been visiting tn town for the past week Mr. and Mrs. James Adams and daughteM Joyce and Jane of Salt Lake visited from Friday to Tuesday with her sister and family, Mr. and -Mrs, Mayo Riggs. Their daughter, Judy Adams, returned home with them after speeding two weeks at the Illggs home, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Houston went lo Salt Lake Tuesday, Mm. Vee Worthen and children spent the holiday weekend ai Ogden with her mother. Wanda Davis was hostess to Los Clal Matrons at bridge last Thursday. Alice Sevy won high Jessie Cherrlngton, 2nd, and Margaret Haycock, low. Guests were Alglai Myers, Florence Parker, Ada Worthen, and Rula Houston who won high guest prize. Mr, and Mrs. Junior Worthen and family spent the weekend at the Joseph Adair home. Junior has Just returned from Cuba where ho spent 18 months. Mr. and Mis. Chant Lee and family and Charley Ivy, of Poet. Texas, are visiting In town and at the Lake. Mr, and Mrs. Douglas Worthen and family visited over the weekend with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Davis. Their son lllcky remained to visit for a month with his grandparents Other hoilday visitors at the Davis home were her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs, Rees Haycock and children Joann and Johnny of iBrlgham City. Funeral services for Mrs. Oeorge (Clole) Worthen will be held this Thursday at 4 p.m. In 8t, George. Mr. Dale Correy, husband ot the former Wanda Adair. Is seriously 111 In a California hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Vera Goff and Mr. and Mrs, Druce Parker attended the Race Meet at Fillmore during the hoilday. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Miller or Salt Lake visited over the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs, John C. Miller. Mrs. Doyl Ipson of Salt Lake has been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. O. Henrle, Loretta Holm ot Richfield spent the weekend at home. Mrs, Memphis Talbot, who was hospitalized here for several days, was taken to Salt Lake to undergo nn operation, Mary Henrle Is home after spending a few days up north. Her daughter Amy returned with hr, also her tvy grandchildren who will visit here foi a while. Mr. and Mrs. 'Garth Cameron and family of Flagstaff, Ariz visited at the W. W. Young home during the hoilday. Mr. and Mm. M V. Hatch were business visitors at Ore. Mr. and Mrs. John Prince and family of Calif, visited at the W. C. Tebbs home. Billy Prince remained here- for the summer, while Judy and Barbara Tebbs . returned to Calif, with th Princes for a visit. Ceclle Houston and children made a trip to Calif, last week to bring home her mother, Mrs Roene Houston. Mr. and Mrs. Douglks Jensen and two daughters spent the 4th with her sister and family, Mr. and Mrs, Mark Bardwell. Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Allen left Wednesday for an extended vacation tour through the Pacific North West and into Canada They will visit son George. Allen and family at Butte, Montana and all will make th trip together, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bruhnarr home to spend two months from I as Vegas, Nevada:. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Shumway and children of Salt Lake v Ultra last Tuesday with her sister and family, Mr, and Mrs. Jay Crosby.
