Show f ESCALANTE - A dance, sponsored by, the Riding Club, was held Saturday night with a large crowd present, also visitors from, surrounding towns. A lunch was served to club members and friends. ' Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Mclnelly of Richfield visited at home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Barton Deuel and Mr. and Mrs. Verge Deuel and family were guests at th George Spencer home over the weekend. Mrs. Lorln Cottom and Mr. T. H. Alvey have been very 111 In the Pangultch hospital. Mr and Mrs. Berdell Thompson and family, M.r and Mrs. Vardon Woolsey, also the son of the Preston' Porters were wtekend visitors here. Richard has spent the vast two years in Germany in the service. Mr. and Mrs. Forest Alvey made a business trip to Salt Lake. StudenU home from school were Richard Lyman, Chan Mc Inelly, Vernon Dean Roundy, and Leda Mae Davli. Mr. and Mrs. Dellls Spencer visited Mrs. Sarah Osborn and relatives. Mr. Leon Spencer, Shlrlene Imlay and a friend Verna Det-pain were home visiting Mrs, Neta Pollock and family, Mrs. Molly A, Mclnelly, who has Brent the past winter In Richfield, has been very ill. Mr. and Mrs, Rex Allen nd boys were visitors In town over the weekend. A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Vergene Porter March .7th. Mr. and Mrs. Danny Pollock made a business trip to Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Chldester of Pangultch visited Mrs, Cella Couldlng and other relatives. Mr. Andrew Spencer and .Mr. and Mrs, George Spencer attend ded funeral services for Sir. Lon Fallis of Hatch. Miss Elaine Bailey was home for the weekend from Pangultch where she is employed. Escalante is very proud ot the new road that Is being 'built under the construction ot Whiting and Hamond. Air. and Mrs. Doyle V. Shurti an! others attended conference ct Salt Lake last week, Meryle Alrey visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. II. Alvey. A shower was held for Mrs. Danny Pollock on April 8th.
