Show Fair Plans Started The Garfield County Fair Poard met March. 10 at Tropic .,.ak- plans for the big 19S5 County Fair to be held the Utter part of August, according to ..i V. Hatch, President of the Fair Hoard. The Queen Contest was such a big success last year that It will become a permanent part of the Fair. Mrs. CI eta Cherrlng-ton did such a wonderful job as chairman of the Queen Contest last year, that she was asked to continue. The Talent Conest, another of last year's successes, will be directed by Mrs. SylvU Judd as Chairman. ( The Hoard appointed Jay Proctor to continue as Manager. The advertising committee are Grant McMullln and Robert Wal dron. The Hoard of Directors consist of M. V. Hatch, President; Harvey Mangum and Lor-in Orlfria, vice presidents; Aide n Maik, treasurer; Rella Shaketipeir and Mrs. Grant Mc-Mullan, women representatives. Tha General Committee la composed of the county commissioners, townjmayors or presidents. Vocational Ag. teachers, Home Economies' teachers and Extension Service. |
