Show ESCALANTE . , Mr. and Mrs. Kugene Clrltflii are home. Kugene received his discharge the 21st of Jan. Mrs. Dlllte Davis and Ruby Osborn were taken to the hospital last week for medical care and had to remain in the hospital a few days. Also Emma Gay Spencer was rushed to the hospital and was operated on for appendicitis Friday. ( A large group attended the ball game between Escalante and Tropic at Tropic and admlp ed the new school building. College students home for the weekend were Chan Mcln-elly, Alvln Cowles, Delmar Cot-tom, Vernon Dean Roundy and Gordon Haycock. Mr and Mrs C. R. Griffin went to Salt Lake "on business. Mr. and Mrs .Ben Porter, Lee Porter, and Bud Porter brought Emerson Porter home and visited ovet the weekend with the , Blake Robinsons and Lea Griffins. Rill Monroe is home from the Vefa Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Schow went to Richfield the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Barney spent the weekend In Richfield. Klynn Haws Is sporting anew, pickup. Kemp Spencer spent the week end here on business. Visitors In Panguitch the first of the week 'were Mr, and Mrs. Mar Chrlstensen.s Bell Chrlsten-sen, Sara"h Osborn, J. H. Allen, Reva Bailey and Will Thompson. Will remained to stay In the hospital for medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Alvey and Mr and Mrs Wanles3 Alvey spent last week In Salt Lake The Wanless Alveys brought home a new car. The Tropic M Men played Es-calante M Men In basketball on Monday with Escalante winning. Also the North, WaTd IBoy Scouts played the South Ward Boy 'Scouts, with the North Ward winning.
