N (Iy a score ot 67-29, the Ce- dar-Pangultch game last Saturday night brought to a ctosethi Pangultcli High School practice season for school year 19S5kln the two practice games with Cedar City, Tangultch came out ahold ot the short score both times. Coach Val Church, thougli ls"plenty satisfied with the games, as the experience he wanted his team to have, ha now been had. The game tomorrow nlghi Escalante at Tangultch, should ,be good. We expect, of course,' to come out ahead. The 11 boys on the team together with the coach and manager deserve the support of the entire community. They've played and certainly will continue to play a fine game ot ball. Student Interest and support is now high. To Esralante, Tropic, ri-ute and Marysvale, we say, "May the best team win." We here are sure we will. Meeting a week ago yesterday, some 30 people Joined the first ski club at Pangultch High School. Mr. Herman J. Houston, who'll do the teaching, opened the meeting and presided over election ot one, Wayne Owens, as club president. Later, Richard Miller was named vice president, and Mamie Hatch; secre- tary. A transportation committee Kathleen Church, Kenneth Itoe, Earl Henrie, Carl Farns-worth. and Max Excell will" provide just what their name Implies. Mamie Hatch and Richard Miller won from the Senior class; Karen Houston and Danny Tebbs from the Juniors; Marle-Holm and Frank Cooper, Sophomores; and Kae Henrie and Ellga Moore, Freshlea. The choosing was done by all members of the upper four grades, rather than Just by the Individual classes. . . After the game tomorrow night there will be a studentbody dance held.
