Show "Won Back" a Winner The presentation of the pleasing pleas-ing melo-drama "Won Back" by tho Garland Dramatic Co., at the Garland Opera House, Thursday afternoon and evening even-ing of this weok, was a winner and the performance in the evening drew one of the largest houses of tho season. Tho total recoipts of both performances amounted to $91. 20 and numerous numer-ous complementary tickots wero issued. The audience was large and everybody present was highly entertained. From all standpoints stand-points of view tho peformanco was well presented and was fully equal to three-fourths of the shows that usually visit our town. Considering that it was home talent, that wo know every character and using a little lit-tle charity in passing judgment of the occasional promptings given, we must confess that the show far surpassed our expec-tatioiiK. expec-tatioiiK. Tho play was well cast, each character being well suited to his or her respective role and the chain of the beautiful story was well linked togethor, costumes cos-tumes olegant and make-up of j characters lino. t We refrain from' criticising he weak features of the plays tor paying personal compliment to those who deserved it, but simply give tho list of characters charac-ters represented and conclude by saying "Givo us the Uome Talent every time in preference to traveling troupes." Givo us another show. Cast of characters: Hugh Ransome, Thos. Rampton Harold King, N. C. Mortenson Austin Brooks, F. D. Baird Frank Powers, Fred L. Rogers Homer C. Cook, M. M. Rampton Abner B.
