Show County Commissioners. All members were present at tho regular mooting held Monday, Mon-day, Feb. 7th. Upon application, Mrs. Anno E Hall of West Portage, was granted free license to conduct a candy store. A communication was received receiv-ed from K. P. Critchelow, relative rela-tive to charge of road in Salt Wells Valley. Referred to a committee of tho commissioners ' on Road Com. to investigate. Petitions from residents of Yost asking board to change the road in Junction, was referred re-ferred to Commissioners and Roads Committee to investigate. ' Official bond of Win. Adams, justice of tho peace of East Garland, was ordered returned to bo completed. Financial statement for year 1009 was presented and accepted. accept-ed. Clerk's, .Recorder's and Auditor's Au-ditor's reports for January, and Sheriff's for December and January, were presented and accepted. Appointment of J. Edward Gibbs, as deputy assessor for Portage, was confirmed. The following bids for the erection of the new Court House were considered : j S. A. Sackett, fir furnished, $50,701, oak, $57,521; Lars Han. sen, oak, $5S,757; M. E. Anderson, Ander-son, fir, $5),0l)0, oak, $59,750. Sackett's bid for oak finish was cacopted unanimously. Upon recommendation, Road Comiv l X. Pierce was authorized author-ized to substitute cement culverts cul-verts for wcmkI, where wood has decayed. N.J.
