Show y Elbertas vs. Sugar Boys. Tho game botweon Brlgham's El-bcrtas El-bcrtas and Garland's Champions was one of tho best ever played on tho local lo-cal diamond. The teams wero protty ovonly matched and right up to the first halt of the ninth Inning, it was anybody's gamo, but tho Elbertns won out by one majority. Tho score, was B-6, favor of the Elbertas. Garland Gar-land seemed to bavo a nack of stealing steal-ing bases, and some excellent work was dono at tho ba also. "Andy" Jensen, in the box pitched a splendid game and kept things lively. But Brlgham was there with tho goods too. Lowe in the box, just had tho visitors at his mercy on more than one occasion. Ho permitted a man to got on third, another on second with only ono man out, and then struck out tho batters as thoy catno up not allowing a man to oven reach first, to say nothing ot running homo from third. Tho feature of tho gamo was a homo run by Ramshaw, on tho first ball that was thrown to him In tho first Inning, Ho slid to tho plate and gave his kneo an ugly scraping, but kept right on In tho gamo nnd played short stop in his usual excellent excel-lent form. It was mighty good ball playing all through, Garland has n snn'ppy team, who will no doubt bond every effort to hold tho championship, but If tho ElbertnB keop on tlioy will give thoir friends from tho sugar city n ; run for their money, ns well as thuj cup and tltlo.
