Show Home-Made Desk Pads. A desk pad that, with a llttlo caro and dexterity, can bo mado at home successfully was seen among some now things not long ago. Two pieces of cardboard, about 20 by 14 Inches In slzo, wcro pasted to-gothor to-gothor nt ono of tho longer edges, making mak-ing what looks llko a pagoless book covor. This was covered by a pleco of flowered crotonno neatly turned at tho edges, and these raw edges covered by a pleco of Arm white paper, which extended ex-tended over tho cntlro lnsldo of the pad. Two or moro pieces of blotting paper were Inserted and fastened by ribbons passed through both covers and blotting papor and tied on tho outsldo. A pleco of ribbon of tho snmo shade, but wider, was fastened so that It ran diagonally across each cover and, tying, held the loaves In placo. |
