Show I DEATH OF MRS. P. JENSEN. Last Saturday, March 27th, at 'ho " homo of her daughter, Mrs. Lena' Jensen of Mantua, Mrs. P. Jensen, aged 73 years and olght months, mother of the Jensen boys of this cIty and Hyrum Jcnson of Colllnston, passed peacefully away after an ,111-nccs ,111-nccs of about two months' duration. Funeral services' wcro held at tho Manlua meeting house at 1 p. m Tuosday of this week. Tho house was crowded with sympathizing relatives rela-tives and friends of tho deceased and tho floral offerings woro beautiful. Members of tho ward choir furnished fur-nished appropriate muilc. Tho speakers spea-kers woro L. H. Hailing, Olo Olson, M. Schow, Alma Jensen of Mantua, Bp. P. 0. Hansen of Paradise, Peter F. Madson and Prest. Oleen N. Stohl of Brlgham City. A largo cortago followed the remains re-mains to tho city c6motory whoro thoy woro Interred. Peter Jcnson and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jensen of this city wore pro-sent pro-sent at tho services. , I Mrs. Jensen was born In Denmark Juno 27, 1833. Emigrated to Utah In 1860. Resided In Brlgham City for a short time and was one of tho pioneer settlers of Mantua. She was a true Lntterday Saint. Was tho mother of nine children, twenty-six grand-children and one great-grand child. The children who survive hor are Peter Jensen, Hyrum Jensen, Jos. Jenson, James Jensen, who Is now on a mission In Denmark, Lena Jenson of Matun and Mrs. Annie J. Kollor of Tremonton. Her husband and threo children preceedod her to tho spirit worjd |
