At 2 p. the attractions at the City park drew a inoinmoth throng whom the following Interesting events took place-: First camo the big base ball gams between Garland's 0 and Hountlf ill's team for a purse of $100.00, The game was a splendid demonstration of ball tossing and Garland had no small task In defeating defeat-ing the Bountiful boys. Y Rich's gray, Alma Jeff's bay and J. F. Owens blank for a purse of $30, Rich's gray got 1st money, Jeff's bay 2nd money 110. Ono Fourth Mile Dash Rich's black, Wardrop's bay and Carter's bay. Purse 120. Rich's got 1st prize. Wadrap 2nd money 7 .30. Saddle Horse Race Rbh's gray, Grov-er's Grov-er's yellow, May field's sorrel and Jensen's black 300 yards. Grover' yellow got 1st money 15.00; Hleh's gray 2nd prize, 12. SO. Six horses wcru entered In the slow raco and after thrso trials Azer Evans' horse was Awarded the prize of 15,00.
