Show FAREWELL SOCIAL IN HONOR OF JAMES JENSEN. Friday evening Sept. 11. at the Amuse-ment Amuse-ment hall a very pleasing farewell social was given in honor of Elder James Jensen, who left Wednesday to perform a mission In Scandinavia. The hall was crowded with friends of tho departing missionary nnd a very pleasant evening was spent. The following program was carried out: Singing America. Prayer by Ludvlg Larson. Address of Welcome Rhhnp W. J. Grovcr. Quartette Mary Wanlass, Jcnnlo Wanlnss, F. O. Haws and Leo Clayton. Remarks A. II. Archibald. Solo D. C. Chapman. Remarks James Jensen. Singing" Wo Thank Thee 0 God for jp a Prophet." After the program all present were Invited In-vited to help themselves at the long table laden with eatables that extended from one end of thu hall to the other. Dancing was then engaged in. During J the dance Elder Jensen was presented a ' purse of 52.15. |
