Hunt, In tho fedoral court, lato Friday, Fri-day, gavo a vordlct of guilty ngainsl throo of tho four Butto labor leaders on tho chargo of contempt of court in violating tho Injunction of the court restraining them from Interference Interfer-ence with tho operations of tho Itocky Mountain Boll Telephono company. Josoph Shannon received n sentence of ninety days' imprisonment in tho county Jail. William Cutts was sentenced sen-tenced to ninety days' imprisonment nnd a tine of $250, while A. E. Edwards Ed-wards was given a sentence of ninety days' lmprlsonmont nnd a $100 tlno. R. C. Scott, tho fourth defendant, was discharged. . Shannon was a momher of tho first legislature, and Is now presldont of tho Montana branch of tho Western Fodoratlon of Miners. Cutts is business busi-ness ngont for tho Carpenters' union. |
