Mr. and Mrs. Eph Coombs returned Sunday ovoning from a very pleasant trip to the Alaska-Yukon Exposition at Seattle. They report having had a time long to bo remembered. Mrs. Lila Clayton of Salt Lake, was in Garland last Saturday Sat-urday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Win. Preston and family. Mrs. Geo. Honrio has been on tho sick list for tho past fow days. Frank Wood, who has had an attack of appendicitis, is on tho improve. Charlie Edwards went to Lohi last Friday and Saturday purchased purch-ased tho homo of Gcan Roberts in that city. Ho returned Sunday. Sun-day. After tho Campaign is ovor at tho Sugar factory, Mr. and Mrs. Edwards will go to Lohi to make their homo.
