Stohl and Ncphi .Jensen, Secretary Sec-retary of tho Granlto Stnku M I A, were among the visitors. Tliu following members of tho Btako M I A Board were in attendance: Pres. Ernest P Horsley, Pres. Ilattio Wight, Jos. Lillywhlto, Francis Sheffield, Geo. Zundcll, James Jensen, Minnie II. Jensen, Kay Evuns, Daisy Madscn, Sarah Mathlas, and Maggie Mag-gie Wight. Tho roll call showed tho following places represented by tho prosidents and aids of both associations: Garland, East Garland, Both well, Thatcher, Heaver, Bear Kiver City, Duwoyviyo and Klwood. 1st Counsellor D B Manning presided, Prcs E P Horsloy In charge. Tho choir and congregation, under the direction of , Jos. Klrkham, sang "Come O Thou Kings of Kings." Prayer by Alvln Ipscn. Singing "Great God Attend, eta.' Tho sacrament was administered , by Elders Ludvig .Larson and Oluf Johnson. A notico was given out of the regular Priesthood Meeting to bo held at Rrlg-hain Rrlg-hain Sat. Sept. 1st. Prcs B P Horsley gave notice of n M I I A Convention to be held at Brlgham City Sopt. 10th and urged all to be pres. cut; made a few remurks and gave as a watch-ward "Get the Spirit that glvcth Life' A District Stake Hoard was organized with hotdquartcrs at Garland to meet once In two weeks. Following ' are the officers: James Jensen, Dist. Sput.; Aids, Wllford Olirlstensen, J PJoeppfcon and Ilyrum Harper. The Garland Y M M I A was reorganized, reorgan-ized, .las Thomson, former prcsldeut, was honorably rclcawl and A 11 Archibald Archi-bald chosen as tho new president with Peter Jensen as 1st counsellor and II J Trunncll as !Jnd counsellor. Geo. Clark was mudo secretary mid 11 J Trunncll treasurer. Tho Y L M I A was also reorganized re-organized as follows: Mrs Elizabeth King was chosen as 2nd counsellor, Maggie Mag-gie Sasscr as librarian and Mrs A J Fife, Polly Smith, Ksslu Evans and Lottie 11 Smith named as aids. A poem written by Eliza K. Snow, was recited by Miss Daisy Mad.ten. Mrs Jos Wiug, tho Misses Hazel and Etisio Evans and Mils EUelln Klrkham sang a ladlis' quatlutto entitled, "Abide With Me." Elder Ncphi Jensen of tho Grunlte Stake addressed tho congregation on the watch-word "Get the Spirit" imd gave a very .interesting talk on tho mission of tho Redeemer. Jos klrkham, Leo Clayton and the Misses Ehtclhi Klrkham and Kuth Clayton Clay-ton rendered the quartette "Pralso Ye tho Father." Two minute talks wcic given by the following: Frauds SheHeld, Maggie U Wight, Jos Lillywhlto, Kay Evans and Mlnnio II Jensen. Pros Oleeu N.
