necessary to complete the work in a proper workmanlike manner and according to contract duly awarded be it ordained by the city council of 0 brigham city utah SECTION I 1 that the city cunell of brigham city utah does hereby levy the tax and provide tor for the assessment of 0 the same upon the property hereinafter described in curb and gutter district no 2 lor for the purpose of providing tor for grading cural curbing and guttering with concrete and constructing sidewalks crosswalks cross walks driveways open cement irrigation ditch and inlets drainage system to carry water across and along streets and intersections plant grass and shade trees in the parking spaces and to do suh such other work as may be necess nece ssan arl to tc complete the work in a broder workmanlike manner and according to ion in tract duly awarded which said property is more particularly farly des bribed as follows to wit lots one 1 two 2 three 3 four W 4 five 5 and six 6 in block forty two plat B D 42 lots one 1 two 2 three 3 and four 4 in block fifty five plat B 55 lots one 1 two 2 three ah 3 four 4 five 5 and six 6 in block forty aree three plat B 43 and lots one 1 two 2 three 3 and four 4 in block fifty four plat B 54 brigham city utah all of the foregoing lots pences ind and parcels of land extending back to the full depth ot of each and all of said lots from the street line in which said improvement pro is constructed in said brigham city this tax is levied to defray the abut tors portion of the expense of grading curbing and guttering with concrete and constructing sidewalks and cross cros walks driveways open cement irrigation ditch and inlets drainage system to carry water across and along streets and intersections plant grass and shade trees in the parking spaces and to do such other work as aa may be necessary to complete the whole in a workmanlike manner the portions of said street opposite the property hereinbefore in and hereinafter described to be especially effected and benefited by said improvements and it is hereby adjudged determined and established that said property will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied and said parcels are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear frontage upon or adjacent to said portions of said street and extending beadi back to the full depth of each and all said lots and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land on both sides of main street between third and fifth south streets to the full depth of the lots Is as follows FIRST abutting property owners uniform assessment including expenses of r inspection publishing notices and making the levy being per front toot foot of abutting property tor for grading curbing and performs performance 7 of said work and making 0 of said improvements with wheelwright construction st company dated the ath day of october A D 1922 and the city treasurer of 0 said brigham city Is hereby authorized empowered and directed to assess and collect said tax ira in accordance with the terms and provisions of this ordinance tor for the purpose herein mentioned SECTION 2 said tax shall become due payable and delinquent in five equal yearly installments with interest on the w whole hole sum unpaid at the rate of six per cent gao 6 per annum until due and thereafter at the rate ot of twelve 12 per cent per annum until paid payable at the time each installment Is due to wit one fifth thereof one year after this ordinance becomes effective one fifth thereof two years thereafter on fifth thereof three years thereafter one fifth thereof four years thereafter and one fifth thereof five years thereafter one ona or more installments in the order payable or the whole tax may be paid without interest within fifteen days from rom the date of the ordinance levying the tax becomes effective one or more of the installments in the order in n which they are payable or the whole special tax may be paid after said fifteen days and before the first installment becomes due by paying the same with interest from the date of levy to the date such next installment is due one or more installments in the order in which they t e are payable or the whole special tax may ay be paid on the date any install installment ent becomes due by paying the amount thereof hereof and interest to the date of payment default in the payment of any such installment of principal or interest when due shall cause the whole of the unpaid principal and interest to become arcome due and payable immediately and the whole amount of the unpaid principal shall thereafter draw interest at the rate of 0 twelve per cent oer der annum until paid but at any time tima prior to the date of sale the owner may pay the amount of all unpaid installments past due with interest at the rate of twelve per cent per annum to the next installment date together with all accrued costs and shall thereupon be restored to the right thereafter to pa any installments in the same manner as it if default had not been suffered SECTION 3 that the assessment list made by the city treasurer as corrected approved
