Show LETTER FROM AUSTRALIA. Editor Garland Globe: , As It hns been some time since I wrote you from this far off Island, I will tell you n fow things that havo happened since my last letter. I have moved twice slnco July 1st, and both times happened to bo In the winter time. We aro now ncarlng the summer months and scorching weather Is coming. I had the pleasure plea-sure of visiting the mints n fow days ago and watched tho process of making mak-ing gold coins, from tho melting of J the ore to the stamping In English pounds ($4.80); also had tho pleasure pleas-ure of hefting a bag containing 3,000 pounds (that Is English pounds.) On 8ept. 6th, I had tho pleasure of baptizing four souls into tho church and my companion Elder J. L. Lott, baptized two on Sept. 8th. Quite a few aro Investigating the gospel and we hope to soon lead them Into the fold. Thero are five ot us laboring here as follows: J. L. Lott of Lohl; P. H. Bodily of Falrvlew, Idaho; Thos. Petorsen of Salt Lako City; J. II. Mc-Brlde Mc-Brlde of Pima county, Arizona, and myself.
