Show TWENTY-SIX PERISH. Went Down to Their Death When Coasting Vessel Foundered. Wlarton, Ont. Tho coasting steamer steam-er J. II. Jones, owned by tho Crawford Tug company, n local concern, foundered, foun-dered, off Cnpo Cocker, and all hands woro probably lost. Tho crow consisted consist-ed of twelve, all of Wlarton, and the number of passengers W estimated at sixteen. Part of tho cabin, a lifeboat and two unidentified bodies havo been found by Indians on tho north shore of the Christian Islands, lloata are now out looking for survivors nnd wrcckngo. |
