Show INDIES it OF tta CITY COUNCH city council met in regular session tuesday evening present mayor simonsen councilmen glover jensen bargeron and bunderson in the matter ot of revision 0 of the city ordinances attorney lowe was present and submitted a copy of all the city ordinances except those now obsolete same were classified and distributed to the councilmen for their perusal councilman bunderson recommended that the copies be returned at next meeting with any recommendations or suggestions of oe changes or alterations that may tie be deemed necessary approved mr G W johnson appeared and petitioned council tor for extension of electric service to his residence south east of city referred to councilman jensen and manager for investigation and report councilman jensen reported that the mayor and council had made a personal visit to the curb and gutter gatter district no 2 councilman jensen moved that certain tre trees es therein remain standing tan ding motion seconded by bargeron vote on oil the motion jensen aye bargeron Ear geron aye glover ro no bunderson no the vote being a tie the mayor cast the deciding vote which was negative city managers recommendation relative to disposal of trees in curb and gutter district no ko 2 approved the matter of free porch light was again discussed councilman jensen a recommended commended rl that a free porch light be granted for a minimum of two years referred to city manager to outline regulations manager recommended that city plat that part of the cemetery lying fin in mediately east cast and west of the sextons sex tons house approved Ala mayors recommendation concerning alleyway east of liberty theatre was considered moved by glover and seconded by Bund bundeson Bunder eUon soa that the matter be referred to the ma mayor or and chairman ot of streets and city manager with a view to notifying mr fred sorensen the reputed owner of the property hat it Is necessary that proper changes be made la in the alleyway to insure public safety and sanitation |
