Show funeral services held for frederick stauffer last sunday impressive funeral ser vlas were wera held at the willard villard ward chapel sunday afternoon for frederick stauffer Sta utter who died at his ranch in the round valley near montpelier idaho thursday last mr air stauffer Stauf ter was mowing in the field and later a daughter noticed the team standing by the haystack detached from the mower and mr stauffer Sta utter missing upon investigation he was found lying in the fie field id in a helpless condition n it is supposed that while he was adjusting the harness barness the team ran knocking him down blown the mower had passed over his legs near the hips and fractured the bones ones and he was found in a serious condition lie ile was taken to tho the house and medical aid nel but he died in a short time mr and mrs stauffer removed to round valley from willard forty rive five years ago where they have since resided they were blessed with no children of 0 their own so adopted children from the orphanages and have succeeded in iii raising and educato il li seventeen children in fit lall all mr air stauffer was seventy six years of 0 age ant la is survived by its his inife etite aud and a number of 0 children the services were presided over by bishop ephin white and the following speakers told of 0 the noble and charitable character of 0 mr stauffer fer and of 0 the exemplary life he has lived peter Ke beher elder bailey ol of north ogden dr ezre rich of 0 ogden president jos it K shepard of 0 the logan temple and bishop white the musical program consisted ot of several songs byl by tho ward choir and solos by mr air 1 wryght ot of ogden harvey t I 1 jr and mrs lothe 0 sackett the remains wore were interred in the wallard cemetery |
