Show 4 1 H CLUB REPORT k SHOWS INCREASE IN YEARS activities four foai 11 club work was waa organized in 26 counties in utah during 1932 with an enrollment of boys and girls girl according to D P murray state club leader ot of the utah state agricultural college extension sion service 1 of tho the number ca enrolled rolled corn com plated their projects to make an average of per cerit cent completion this record Is largely due to the well defined plans of 0 work drawn up for th the i clubs cluba to follow and the efficiency ot of 17 volunteer leaders who sponsored the work in the various communities of the state since 1923 when thero there were club members until this year enrollment roll ment in 4 11 work has increased by during the past year the club girls prepared 1 dishes of food and meals canned quarts of food made articles of clothing and remodeled articles budgets budges kept by 2085 girls garla and 1521 books were read club boys boya owned 27 purebred and high grade dairy anim at purebred and grade gade sheep beef animals hogs bogs and 1340 turkeys tur keya in addition both boys boya and girls were enrolled in forestry and crop clubs A health project was waa conducted in 24 counties coutil les fig part cart of oc the regular 4 H program county and state contests were conducted fa a means ot of calling attention atto tAlon to the value of adequate food clothing rest recreation and sanitation |
