Show identification OF BURGLARS IS CLUE TO RICHFIELD ROBBERY three of the thieves who looted a store in mt aft pleasant last week and were arrested and taken to the tha sandow county jail at mantl were in denti fled as being connected with the burglary of the clothing co store here on november IB 15 the identification was made monday when sheriff V at fairbanks accompanied by W B pace manager of the richfield ich clothing co visited the cho prisoners and found them in possession of two overcoats a suit of clothes a pair of shoes and a pair of gloves that had been taken form the local store the prisoners gave their names as black A welch and frank coyle the sheriff Is confident that the fingerprints he succeeded in getting from tho iho jacobson car in which the burglars made their escape from richfield and later left in spanish fork are the fingerprints of the prisoner who gave his name as black tho the fingerprints of the prisoners have been sent to the state criminologist for identification and the sheriff expects 1 to have a report directly mr pace recognized one 0 of the thel prisoners as a man who had come in his store on the saturday before the burglary placed himself on the charity list by asking one of the th e clerks for a pair of shoes and in the absence of mr air pace who was it at lunch loitered about the store until mr air pace returned and gave him the shoes evidently mr paces us usual ual generosity was somewhat misplaced in this case richfield reaper |
