a E the junior class clas ot of the box elder high school entertained the sophomore class at a dancing party wednesday evening in it the high S school chool gymnasium light refreshments were served about one hundred couples w were ere in attendance r ET mr air and mrs lester anderson entertained at dinner sunday evening covers were laid farmr tor mr and mrs W V W N garrett and mr air and mrs airs AI G hartson dr and mrs M G hanson entertained several guests from davis county friday evening they were mr ir and mrs E G king mr air arid and mrs W W garrett and mr air G adams all of layton arid and miss kiss bolin of farmington 4 miss vera preston a well known pianist of this city was presented by her teacher miss bliss cecile ragan in it a piano recital at the high school auditorium tor burn tuesday evening many out ot of town guests besides a large number of towns people were present much aluch enthusiasm was shown over id ability which miss bliss preston expressed arid and it is indeed certain that she will be acknowledged as one of 0 our future artists of music miss aliss ireta roylance accompanied by miss bliss crystal jeppson gave several excellent selections on the cello making the program exceptionally enjoyable tor for all who attended 0 0 the second dance ot of the series to be given by the Kinder kindergarten garden club was held tuesday evening at the academy of music musi c A fairly large crowd was in attendance and a pleasant evening was spent the committee in charge were mrs W V call chairman mrs D W henderson mrs airs orval jensen mrs W H cleave mrs francis sheffield mrs kirk martin and mrs A S rich nich the next Kinder kindergarten garden dance will be held march it Is especially urged that the towns people attend these dances and show their loyal support port to the Kinder kindergarten garden movement and appreciation ot of the work already accomplished by the club mrs birs leroy nelson entertained in honor of her birthday anniversary thursday afternoon various games and social amusement were enjoyed during the tore fore part ot of the afternoon which was followed by an elaborate dinner many lovely presents were received by mrs airs nelson from her friends present the guests were mr air and mrs william bott mr and mrs leroy lehoy bott mr and mrs lorenzo bott mr air and mrs bert just mr and mrs victor bott air left wednesday tor for new york on an extended visit jonquils and sweet peas were used in decorating the rooms the dining table was adorned with a large basket of 0 red sweet peas over a cluny lace centerpiece with red candles candies ln in silver candle sticks on either side of 0 the basket cards were enjoyed during the afternoon prizes being won by mrs geo al fister and mrs C H bryan at the
