I 1 ESCALANTE f Q W very impressive funeral services wore held in the south ward chapel sunday october 21 for the nineteen year old son of mr and mrs albert IL 11 griffin who passed away at the faintly family residence october 19 after a four weeks battle with typhoid fever bishop 11 C bailey was in char charge 90 odthe of the services and the choir rendered its first number wanted on the other side the opening prayer was offered by parley P porter after which the choir sang when the mists have cleared awny the speakers for the occasion were elders roy lee elwood 13 allred thomas A king and bishop H 0 balloy bailey A very appropriate vocal solo was rendered by mrs thora munson after which the choir sang my future home benediction was pronounced by william mitchell at the escal ante cemetery where interment was made the grave was dedicated by bishop shop lorenzo griffin the choir sang Faro wei all earthly honors tho the decea deceased sud was a ver very quiet and industrious young man having completed his second year in high school with high honors the entire community extends its sincere sympathy to the parents and surviving brothers and steers in their bereavement
