| Show A GOOD LADY CALLED HOME shortly after noon on sunday lire birs christena i hansen of the fourth ward died atter after a weeks illness with pneumonia on the sunday previous mrs birs hansen attended the relief society anniversary program given in the fourth ward chapel and was in the enjoyment of her usual health she contracted a cold the following day and pneumonia developed in a malignant form which resisted every remedy that was applied to check it mrs hansen was the wife of the late james hausen and has been a resident ot of this city city since 1874 she was born in sweden october 27 1849 and was baptized into the church ot of jesus christ of latter day saints when but a girl of 0 14 years of age she was married at an early age and was the mother of nine children six or of whom survive her deceased was old enough to realize that it was unpopular to belong to cie mormon chirch back in the old country and it was to escape the persecution that was directed against them that t the e family came to this land fari for many years the family resided un tin the farm farm north of this city and only during the past winter a new home was completed over on second east street where the children intended their mother should enjoy the com cam forts and b blessings les sings of a modern home during her last days mrs mra hansen was one of the active workers in the relief society of the fourth ward and a was a woman who was beloved by all who knew her funeral services ices will be held in the fourth ward chapel tomorrow wednesday beginning at 1 |
