Show George SxelgeoVe of Salt Lake city is down on a briet visit with friends. Everybody is acquainted with Hy rum Duke. Hyrum will do some good work as "Jelluck" in the "Lancashire Lass'' at the opera house on Saturday night. The city of Heaver is in quite a state of excitement over the development of symptoms of innanity in a hitherto prominent citizen ot the place, one George J3radnhaw byname. It seems i;.at lately Bradshaw has become a religious re-ligious enthusiast and claims to have bten permitted to converse with his God. who promised him that hia son who had recently died Ehould be resurrected resur-rected ''this day." He and his family went to the graveyard and waited for the boy to be resurrected, but in vain, Later he remembered that a day with the Lord is as a thousand years, so that he etilJ believes that God's promise to him will be kept. Bradshaw was arrested, ar-rested, but later was allowed to go to bis home. He seems perfectly harmless. Tha Beaver paper in closing its report of the affair seems to intimate that there is a suspicion lurking in the minds of many who know Bradshaw that something wrong or perhaps criminal baB been done by Bradshaw for vthloh his present actions aie but a ruse. |
