It is astonishing the great number of holiday buyers that flock into the stores these days, particularly of evenings! even-ings! And it is more astonishing the great amount of money they spend. Thk jurors who tried the last jury case in this term of the First District court, together Mith Judge King and Deputy Clerk Thurman, had a group photo of themselves taken. It is now completed, and makes a good picture. The First District court adjourned this morniBg till 4 o'clock this afternoon, after-noon, at which time a motion for a new trial in the damage suit, Ben Argyle vs. the Strawberry Cattle company com-pany will be heard.
