Show In 1889 one Wm. R. McClain, an Insane In-sane man, was brought from Beaver to I'rovo and placed in the asylum. Yesterday Yes-terday his brother E. S. McClain of Mc-Coraick, Mc-Coraick, Jefferson county, Mo., called upon him at the asylum. The insane brother recognized his sane brother at once, though he had not seen him before since 1877, and re called many incidents and asked questions ques-tions about many persons and family affairs that had entirely escaped the memory of the sane man. The family have been diligently searching for the lost brother for years and it is only within the last few weeks that they learned the poor fellow was in the asylum asy-lum here. He refused to go back until some mighty wrong he imagines has been done him is righted. Tie unfortunate man was taken to his home notwithstanding his refusal to go willingly. He and his brother departed de-parted on today's train. |
