Show E. A. Wedgwood was appointed by the legislature commissioner to hear evidence in the Dugali-Ltobertson con test. This morning the hearing was had in Dougall's house in Springville. J. W. N. Whitecotton repr. sented Dougall and Hon. Wm. II King appeared ap-peared for Robertson. No evidence was offered but after argument an agreement agree-ment was drawn up, accepted by both parties, which agreement will be presented pre-sented to an appropriate committee of the legislature and a decision no doubt will be rendered tomorrow. The agreement agree-ment set forth the location of the boundary line separating the two representative re-presentative districts as fixed by the Utah commission at the time of districting dis-tricting and specified the number of voters of Mapleton precinct who live on each side of that line. The agreement also states that before the creation of Mapleton precinct ali the voters were registered and voted in Springville precinct which is in the districi that elected Robertson. |
