Indictments have been found by the Nephi grand jury against five of Provo's citizens charging them with inciting riot on May 12th. Arrests will undoubtedly be made this evening or tomorrow to-morrow when names can be given. It is said that charges against two other citizens are being considered. Jet, as is known, is a comparatively compar-atively scarce article, being found onlv in scattering quantities under coal veins in England and in .Eevpt and small pieces here and there in certain deseits. Some has been found in the eand near Cisco, Utah. It is used in the manufacture of iewelry and for ornaments It is susceptible of a very high polish. This particular quality when polished has a rich veivety appearance, ap-pearance, most beautiful indeed. On the surface it can be taken out in pieces three inches thick, two feet long by one foot wide. It can be reached verv easily with wagons aad is found in the mountains in a larj;e circular basin several hundred fset deep the walls of which are almost perpendicular perpendicu-lar and that appears to have been washed out by a monster water-spout in early ages.
