Our fire chief is bestirrirg himself and undoubtedly the men will get over to Springvihe this evening. The R. G. W. will not allow these men to board its freight trains openly they must go as other tramps, if they go at all. A good place for squads to board the heavily loaded freights is on' the heavy grade just south of Springville. There are also many other places in the canyon. They have asked permission from the city marshal to solicit alms from the citizens. The marshal explained ex-plained to the men that he bad no authority au-thority to grant any such permission and further stated that while he was not anxious to arrest them or to de tain them in the city unnecessarily long, to solicit alms on the streets is a violation of city ordinance and if any complaints are made it will be his duty then to act.
