Show First District Court. Yesterday afternoon the hearing of the rape case against liyrou Sessions was continued and again this morning. morn-ing. The grand juy reported six indictments indict-ments three under United States and three under territorial statutes. The case of the United States vs. Alfred L Ely was ordered transferred to the second district, The case ot the People vs. Wm. Fields and Felix Gewell was reported ignored by the grand jury. Also the cases against Riley Patten and David Bennett et al. II. P. Johnson plepded not guilty to assault. This morniug Clayton Gammett and Alex. Oglevie pleaded not guilty of grand larceny. Hearing of the cases was set for March 7. Charles Davenport pleaded not guilty of'imurder and hearing was set for March fcth. Sam. A. King and . A. Wilson were appointed to defend Mr. Davenport, : |
