Show COUNTY COORT. Tha Marcb Session Cemssnced Monday. Reports of the Justices of the Peace Received for Quarter Quar-ter Ending fVlarch. A Petition Presented Asking A County Road to the Sugar Factory. The Utah County Court met in regular reg-ular session Monday Korning, commencing com-mencing the regular March term. 1891. There were present Judge J. D. Jones, Selectmen Holdaway and Lund, the County Attorney, County Clerk and Sheriff, Mr. Keetch presented a petition of himself and others asking for the organization or-ganization ot a new precinct, to comprise com-prise all that district of country lying north of the old precint line formerly between Provo and Pleasant Grove, and south of the Robinson north line, from the base of the mountain to the lake. The petition was referred to Selectmen Holdaway and Lund. J. E. Ross, City Recorder of Lehi, sent in a commuHication in regard to abandoning a certain piece of road near Dry Creek in that precinct, and on motion of Selectman Iloldway the Clerk w-.s instructed to request the said Ci Recorder to forward a certified certi-fied copy of the action of the City Councilor Lehi in abandoning said roa 1, as the communication itself was insufficient. John S. Willes, justice of the peace at Lehi, reported an inquest held before be-fore him over the remains of one Ge . Johnson, on the loth of January, 1891. Report accepted. J.R. Twelves, coroner of Utah county, coun-ty, reported inquests held before him over the remains of three patients of the Territorial Asylum, viz., Charlotte Ostland and Martha A. Hadtield, filed January 10, 1891, and Melinda E. Mecham, filed January 24, 1891. The report of W.H.BarnettJustice of the peace at Payson, reported criminal cases heard by him January 3,1891, with costs amounting to $36.20. Referred to County attorney. The report of George Webb, justice of the peace at Lehi, for hearing case of Will iam Reese, on a charge of burglary, bur-glary, with its items of costs, was received re-ceived and 89 allowed and appropriated. appropri-ated. J. E. nills, United States Commissioner, Commis-sioner, acting as justice of the peace, reported criminal case3 heard by him for the quarter ending February 8, 1891.
