"Even though we're investing more into our infrastructure to meet customers' energy needs, we work hard to aggressively control our operating costs and provide natural gas service at rates that are consistently among the lowest in the country." If approved, the increase would raise the monthly bill for the typical residential customer by about $1.36, or less than 2.5 percent beginning March 1, 2014.
