Show SUMMIT COUNTY NEWS AUGUST 5, 2011 Friday and Saturday, July 29-30 Summit County Horse Show In conjunction with the Summit County Fair, the Summit County Horse Show was held at the Rodeo Grounds - beginning Friday evening and ending later on Saturday. The event has many categories for youth and adults to participate in, and announcing the line-up, winners and other information was Chase Black of Coalville. The events covered in today's Summit Spotlight English were Pleasure and English Equitation, and Westem Pleasure. Winners in the English Pleasure 18 and older were: 1st Place: Linda Zundel (receiving her ribbon in photo); 2nd Brittnee Christensen and 3rd, Crystel Noss. English Equitation 1st place went to Milissa Robinson on Lucky. Western Pleasure 14U were 1st: Lacey Christiansen, 2nd Candace Noss, 3rd, Crystal C. Nielsen. 12-13, were: 1st: Mela Melia Evans, 2d Sadie Abuhadar, and 3rd Alexandra Maxfield. 9-11 Western Pleasure 9-11 were 1st Quaidi Richins, 2nd Alice Peterson, and 3rd Kira Bush. Other winners for entire Horse show will be posted following the Summit County Fair! Congratulations to each and every youth and adult who entered the Summit County Horse Show. Special thanks to the volunteer assistants, and especially to the judge, Clark Parker. He has been a judge for many years, and has presently been invited to judge a horse show in Europe. Thanks, Clark, for your great advice to the participants and for your fine expertise and judging skills shown at the Summit County Horse Show 2011.
