ARTICLE AND PLANTS GROWN AND WRITTEN BY ERICA, DENTRY AND SAMANTHA Do we all love our mothers? I think so!!! As aspiring horticulturists from the North Summit High School FFA students green house production program. Erica Birk, Dentry McQueeen, and Samantha Nicholes have been working all year to prepare for this day, our famous Mother’s Day flower fundraiser sale. Can you say beautiful? I think you can. We have just about every kind of flower you can think of to glorify your garden or home. We are having a Pre-Mothers Day sale on May 8th and 9th, that’s the Friday and Saturday before Mother’s Day, good timing right? We will be open for business at the Green House on Friday the 8th from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm and on Saturday the 9th from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Our specialty for the Mothers Day sale will be ten inch hanging baskets for only $10. Our goal is to raise money to keep this wonderful program running for other students to enjoy and GROW! This is a great cause and your support is appreciated and needed. Erica says that: “Seeing these plants grow from seedlings has been the highlight of my year!” Please keep her spirits alive by buying the fruits of her labor. Dentry tells me that seeing plants grow makes her feel “yummy inside”, that’s a fine reason to support our sale don’t you think? Let’s not leave Samantha out of this picture, she says working in the green house makes her feel “hot and steamy!” Which is a good thing she says. I guess you will have to come by the sale to find out what she means by that statement. Please come out and support our fundraiser it world mean the world to us and to your Mom’s. We thank you in advance for your support and thoughtfulness toward your Mother’s. If for some reason you are unable to come by for our Mother’s Day sale we will be open for business the following two Saturdays, May 16 and May 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for your purchasing convenience.
